Install-It-Direct has installed artificial turf in San Diego since 2009. The callback we could never fully solve was the smell on dog yards a few months after the job, so we had a concentrate made for it. Two design-build companies now recommend it to every client with a dog.
Pro pricing
Delivered pricing, freight included
These are 10X concentrate. One gallon makes ten gallons of finished spray at one part to nine parts water. Ground freight from Kansas City is already in the number.
A gallon, if you resell it
You pay $74.95 by the case. Retail on this site is $99.95. That is the spread, before you decide what to do with it.
A finished gallon, if you include it
Build it into the install price and a client walks away with a gallon and directions. It costs you $7.50.
Finished gallons per case
One case covers a lot of service calls. Ordering more than a case lowers freight per gallon; ask and we will quote it.

Who owns whatUrine Zero shares common ownership with both of the companies named on this page: Install-It-Direct and Sequoia Outdoor. They are not independent customers and we would rather say that plainly than let it read like an outside recommendation. What it does mean is that two contractors who carry the warranty on their own turf installs put this on those jobs.
How installers use it
Two places it earns its keep.
At handoff, with the client
Send them home with a gallon and the directions, so the smell never becomes your callback three months later. It reads as thoroughness, not an upsell.
On existing dog yards
Treat the turf and the base on service calls and replacements where the smell is already there. It is the difference between a rip-out and a fix.
Directions for turf
The method matters more than the product does.
Most failures are a light spray in the afternoon. The residue is not on the blades, it is in the infill and the base underneath.
Not sure how to treat a surface? Ask us and we will tell you. If the answer is that Urine Zero is the wrong product for it, that is what we will say.
Mix one part to nine
Use a one-gallon pump sprayer outdoors so the ratio stays right. One gallon of 10X makes ten gallons of finished spray.
Apply in the evening, once the sun is down
Heat and direct sun dry the surface before the solution can work down through the infill.
Saturate, do not mist
Soak the affected areas completely, so the product reaches everything the urine reached, including the base underneath.
Let it work overnight
This is the step people skip. Overnight is the dwell time the directions call for.
Then repeat on a schedule
- Monthly for maintenance
- Every other week for medium odor
- Weekly on heavily used areas until the smell is gone
